Audio Interfaces: macOS Sonoma and Sequoia audio quality and input issues

From MacOS Sonoma 14.0 Apple have added a 'Voice Isolation' feature for audio inputs that can be activated on audio applications. If this is enabled the audio quality can be affected. This feature was designed to be used with video conferencing applications and not for Digital Audio Workstations (DAWS). 

This feature may create problems during recording since it removes frequencies above 10 kHz from the recorded channel

We strongly advise disabling voice isolation if you are having audio quality or inputs issues. Please set the Mic Mode to 'Standard'. Please see the following article from Apple for information on how to change microphone modes.
