This procedure works for all Series III console and rack mixers in Universal Control.
After connecting to Universal Control, open your mixer to the fader view and click the settings gear in the upper right corner.
Then, double click the mixer name in the upper left corner.
This will allow you to edit the field.
Click enter after renaming.
