To ensure the most optimized performance and latest features of Motion 16 and Motion 32, we strongly recommend keeping your Motion hardware up-to-date with the latest firmware.

Below are instructions for registering your Motion Controller to your my.fender account and how to ensure your firmware is up-to-date.

A. Product Registration

1. Go to my.fender.com and login or create a new account.

2. Once logged in to your my.fender account, choose “Register Products”

 

4. Choose “Recording & Live Sound Hardware”

 

5. Enter your purchase date and serial number

6. Click Register in the bottom right corner.

B. Updating Firmware

1. Download Universal Control for your operating system: Fender Universal Control

2. Install Universal Control

3. Open Universal Control

4. Connect your Motion to your computer using the provided USB-C cable

5. If your Motion Controller requires a firmware update:

   1. Choose the “Update Now” button.
      
       

       

      

       

   2. Choose “Yes” to confirm you wish to update the firmware. The firmware update should start immediately with a progress bar.
      
       

       

      

      
      
      
       

6. Once complete, your Motion Controller’s firmware is now updated and your firmware should show a newer version.
