Before proceeding please be sure your firmware is updated on your StudioLive and that you are using the latest Universal Control:

First, be sure that your input channels are being sent to the FX Bus of your choice for processing.

On StudioLive Series III Consoles:
- Press [Main Mix] on the left side of the console.
- Then, above the MainMix button, use the [Next> button to page over to the FX Ret A, Ret B, Ret C, and Ret D faders.
- Press [Select] on the FX Return channel:

- Be sure that these Return faders are raised to output through the Mains,
- When pressing [Select] on the FX Ret, be sure that the [Main] button is ON in the FAT Channel for each FX Ret fader.
- Be also sure that they are set to [Analog] input type.
Any of these above three suggestions could cause the FX (A,B,C, or D) to not output through the Main Mix if not set accordingly.
On StudioLive Series III Racks:
- Press "Main" from the Mix Bank on the right side of Universal Control,
- Then, scroll over to the end of the row of Faders to see the FX Ret A, Ret B, Ret C, and Ret D faders.
- Select/Highlight the FX Return channel:

- Be sure that these Return faders are raised to output through the Mains,
- When Selecting/highlighting the FX Ret, be sure that the [Main] button is ON in the FAT Channel for each FX Ret fader in the top-left corner.
- Be also sure that they are set to [Mixer] input type from the Channel settings gear-icon in the top left corner.
Any of these above three suggestions could cause the FX (A,B,C, or D) to not output through the Main Mix if not set accordingly.
