QMix-UC and how to add the device Nickname

Published Mar, 2025

Due to changes on iOS, your device running QMix-UC can not take the devices name to populate on Universal Control to assign AUX permissions. This has been addressed by allowing QMix-UC to give the connected device a "Nickname".

Please ensure you are running the latest version of firmware, Universal Control and QMix-UC version.

  • StudioLive Series III firmware should be v2.8.2.103375
  • Universal Control v4.6.1.104762
  • QMix-UC version should be v3.4.0.10446

Please ensure you have correctly setup your wireless network
