Audiobox 1818 : No Playback in Sonar after driver update


Due to the way that Sonar treats audio interfaces, Sonar will sometimes no longer work with an interface after a firmware/driver update.

To fix this issue follow the instructions below:

  1. Open Sonar
  2. Click Edit, Then Preferences
  3. Click Configuration File
  4. Click Reset Config to Defaults, Then Apply
Sonar will now re-scan your audio interface and allocate the inputs and outputs again.
PLEASE NOTE: Some users of Sonar X1 have noted that upon updating to Sonar X1d, their device performs as normal. Please check with Cakewalk to make sure that your version of Sonar is up to date.
