Anyone who registered a new license for Studio One 5 on or after August 1, 2022 and before the release of Studio One 6 on September 28, 2022, is within the grace period and is eligible to redeem a complimentary license of their purchased edition of Studio One. This includes bundled software that was given as a gift upon registration of a piece of PreSonus hardware. OEM copies do not qualify for free upgrades. Details are listed below:
***If you purchased during the grace period, but did not have a chance to register before September 28, 2022, please submit a support ticket and include your receipt.
- If you registered Studio One 5 Artist within the grace period, you will receive a free license for Studio One 6 Artist.
- If you registered a piece of hardware that gave you a free copy of Studio One 5 Artist within the grace period and you did not select the optional discount for Studio One+, you will receive a free license for Studio One 6 Artist. If you chose Studio One+, you will not qualify for a free copy of Studio One 6 Artist.
- If you registered Studio One 5 Professional within the grace period, you will receive a free license for Studio One 6 Professional.
- If you registered a copy of Studio One 5 Artist OEM or Studio One Professional OEM during the grace period, we are sorry but you are not eligible for an upgrade.
- Eligible customers must redeem their complimentary upgrade by Jan 1, 2023.
- Grace period redemptions are for new Studio One license purchases only. License registrations that are the result of a license transfer are not eligible.
- Studio One+ members will automatically receive Studio One 6 in their accounts in addition to their license for Studio One 5.
If you have registered a piece of PreSonus hardware and received a free copy of Studio One 5 Artist during the Grace period, then please log into your my.presonus.com account and go to Products and click on the Studio One 5 Artist product and then click on the Redeem Now button as shown in the screenshot above.
