You can create and sign into a MyFender account with 'Sign in with Google'.
You can do this at myfender.com, and within the Fender Connect dialog within Fender applications.
Google will remember the account you associate with Fender on your device, even if you sign out and then back in. See below steps to force change the associated Google account if needed.
Sign in with Google from the application
- Open the Fender Connect sign-in dialog
- In Studio Pro, click the profile icon in the top right corner, or 'Sign in...' from the application menu
- In Studio and Notion, go to the Application Menu, then Manage Features
- In Tone, connect to your amp, then go to Settings, then Sign in
- Click the Google icon in the Fender Connect sign in dialog.
- This will open your system browser.

Enter your Google email address. If there are multiple Google accounts already available to you on your device, you will be presented with a list of Google accounts to choose from, or you can choose 'Use another account'.
Note that the dialog will refer to 'Fender Play' regardless of what app you are signing in from! - Review the permissions and select Continue to login
- Note if you get an 'Error authenticating' message in the app's Fender Connect dialog, this means it is likely you already have a standard MyFender email+password account using the Google email address you are trying to use. If so, then sign in using email+password instead of with Google.
Once you have successfully signed in with Google, even if you sign out and sign in with Google again from within the app, it will automatically sign in with the Google account you initially selected on this device.
To later choose a different Google account
Go to https://myaccount.google.com

Find “Third-party apps & services”
- Find Fender and click it
- Scroll down → Delete all connections
- Now open the Fender app and choose sign in with Google. The list of available Google accounts will now show as before. Choose the Google account you wish to connect.
- Note that this will be a different MyFender account from the one you originally associated.
