Removing Your Fender Credentials (Invalid user name or password error)

If you can open Fender Studio Pro, go into Studio Pro in the menu bar of the program and sign out of your account.  Next, re-launch Fender Studio Pro and sign in using the correct account.  If you still have an issue, please follow the instructions below, to manually remove any Fender/PreSonus credentials from your computer.  

 

MacOS Customers:

 

***If you are on the Sequoia (macOS 15) operating system or higher, the Keychain is now under the following path.  

Macintosh HD/System/Library/CoreServices/Applications/Keychain Access

 

Mac: Launch "Keychain Access" application from the "Utilities" folder and delete the "Fender_UserAccount" keychain as well as the "Fender_StudioOne_OAuth" keychain.

Windows Customers:  

Windows 10 Users will find a screen that looks like the image below. (Open the Control Panel and do a search for "Credential Manager."  You can then click the "Credential Manager" to open it)

 

1.   Select the Windows Credentials section.

2. Find the entry for "Fender_UserAccount" as well as "Fender_StudioPro_OAuth" and click the little downward arrow to open up the credential.

3. Click "Remove" to delete the credential.

Launch Fender Studio Pro again. You will be prompted to log in with your credentials.

Login with your MyFender Email address and your Password. 

Be sure to select "Remember My Credentials" and click Login to continue. 

If you don't check the "Remember My Credentials" check box, you'll need to login each time you access this menu. This is a matter of preference.
