With the cross platform version of Fender Notion (formerly ‘Notion Mobile’), alongside the scoring capability of Fender Studio Pro, ‘PreSonus Notion 6’ desktop for macOS and Windows and associated Expansion packs have been superseded and as of 13 Jan 2026 will no longer be offered for sale.
Notion 6 will remain available for active Fender Studio Pro+ memberships until 13 Jan 2027. At that time customer and technical support will cease. For existing users with perpetual Notion 6 licences, installers will continue to remain available to download from their account past this date (as per previous versions), but not supported.
Files
Notion files (.notion) can be opened in Fender Notion (on macOS, Windows, iOS, Linux and Android). Notion files can also be transferred direct from Notion to Fender Studio Pro, where they can be saved as .song files. If you don’t wish to use Notion, you can export your scores as a MusicXML file. This XML file can then be imported into most popular notation applications.

Or search for ‘notion music’ in the following app stores: Microsoft, Apple macOS, Apple iOS, Google Play, Samsung Galaxy Store. It is also available on Linux. The Feature Bundle can be unlocked either with an in-app purchase per platform, or across all platforms with a valid Fender Studio Pro+ membership.
