I can not hear my instrument/EFX while I'm recording

On the AudioBox Go, ensure that your "Mix pot" is set correctly. We recommend having it set at the midway position, but you can adjust this to your liking after confirming audio.

Then, ensure your headphone "Gain pot" is not in the off position, having it set midway is a good starting point, you can adjust this to your liking after confirming audio.

Ensure that your input pots are set correct to the gain required for the instrument you have connected. These knobs provide 50 dB of variable gain (0 to +50 dB for microphones, -15 to 35 dB for line/instrument).

Clip indicator The small red indicator to the right of the Gain Controls will illuminate when your input signal reaches -0.5 dBFS. At this level, the signal will begin to overload the analog-to-digital converters and exhibit signs of clipping. Use the gain controls to keep the signal below this level.

The AudioBox GO provides 48V phantom power for the microphone inputs. Pressing the 48V button switches phantom power on and off for all microphone inputs; the button will illuminate in blue when phantom power is available on the microphone preamplifiers.

If you can see audio on your instrument track like this after you enable the record button and you can not hear it in your headphones,

You need to enable the "Monitor" button which is the small speaker icon above the record button like below,

You should now be able to hear your instrument and EFX you have added to that track, you can adjust your headphone levels to your required levels.
