Studio One 4 - Invalid Login and Email Error

Anyone who has Studio One 2, or has activated Studio One 3 or 4 on their computer once, and then has changed their password in MyPreSonus, may experience a login error when Studio One 4 either tries to activate or access their MyPreSonus account to authenticate the Product Key and credentials. This error may also occur while attempting to install Content.

The error message may look like the following:

On Mac OS X

 On Windows

or

To fix, there is a way to reset Studio One 4 so that you are prompted to re-enter your credentials.

NOTE: This information was recently changed, it is not necessary to remove the user.license file to resolve this issue.

  • This change can be done while Studio One 4 is running and when retrying the function that was failing previously, Studio One will then show a log in window.
  • There's no reason to remove the license files or even restart Studio One.

1. Remove the password keychain information.

MacOS Customers:

Mac: Launch "Keychain Access" application from the "Utilities" folder and delete the "Presonus_UserAccount" keychain.

Don't worry about removing the PreSonus_StudioOne_OAuth credential.

If you don't check the "Remember My Credentials" check box, you'll need to login each time you access this menu. This is a matter of preference.
