The nice folks over at Ardour have created their own custom implementation of FaderPort Series of products. You can read more about it in their online manual here.
If you have further questions about the FaderPort Series with Ardour, please know that Ardour develops their own Native device profile for the Faderport Series. PreSonus Technical Support is unable to assist with such inquiries as PreSonus does not develop the profile.
