My MacBook only support WEP and Open Networks for Ad-Hoc network setup, why can't I use this?

To use a MacBook with WPA2 you will need to acquire a router that supports WPA or WPA2. Apple does sell an AirPort Extreme and Express WiFi Router models that supports WPA2.
