Update: July 10, 2018 - Universal Control 2.8.048221 has a firmware update 1.45 which addresses an issue with Pro Tools dropping FaderPort Classic during sessions for some users, visit FaderPort Classic download page.

Starting with ProTools 8.0.5, Avid no longer supports new development for HUI protocol and has left HUI inside Pro Tools as a 'Legacy Protocol'. We have tested FaderPort in HUI mode with many versions of Pro Tools to show the differences in behavior between releases.

Since the release of Pro Tools 12, this chart does not need to change as the functionality matches Pro Tools 11.

*NOTE: The FaderPort Classic itself has never changed its HUI mode implementation. Any differences or changes in functionality from version to version are a reflection of changes in Pro Tools HUI implementation and support.
