Supported AVB network switches

Which AVB switches have been tested and are currently approved for use with AVB enabled PreSonus devices?

PreSonus will be conducting ongoing testing of AVB capable network switches as more come to market, in order to verify those makes and models that function correctly with our AVB enabled products. This page may be updated from time to time, so check back often.

Approved:

Currently the following AVB network switches have been tested and confirmed to work with our Phase 1 AVB implementation of a single AI console connected via AVB to a single RM mixer

1) MOTU AVB Switch

- Make sure to update to the latest firmware to resolve an issue MOTU has noted with their prior firmware that can cause AVB audio not to pass. See Changelog here.

2) Extreme Networks Summit X440-8t

- Software version supported: ExtremeXOS 15.4.1.2 / Hardware: Rev 11.0

- NOTE: AVB License/firmware is required. Must be purchased from Extreme Networks at the time of switch purchase.
