Q: Why won’t the driver disc for my AudioBox auto-play?

A: Sometimes, the “auto-play” or “auto-start” function in Windows will fail for various reasons.
There could be an incompatibility with auto-play, or there could be an issue with the provided
disc, such as a scratch or data corruption.

While you can manually open the files on the disc using your operating system’s file browser,
such as Windows Explorer on Windows or Finder on Mac OS X, we recommend simply
downloading the latest driver from our Web site. Drivers for all of our products are available
here.

On the downloads page, simply click on the product that you have purchased, then select the
proper driver for your operating system under Current Downloads. Download this file to your
computer, run it, and your drivers will be installed.

Because the drivers on the Web site are usually newer than the ones on your included disc, PreSonus
always recommend downloading the driver, rather than using the one supplied on the disc.
