FaderPort - Cubase/Nuendo Native Mode setup for Windows

How do I set up my FaderPort in Cubase/Nuendo in Native Mode on Windows?

Native Mode support for the FaderPort requires manual installation/placement of a FaderPort.dll file specifically for your DAW. The following article describes how to download and place the necessary .dll file, and then how to set up the Faderport in your software.

Cubase/Nuendo 32 bit

1. Download the Cubase_Nuendo 32-Bit zip file.

2. Unzip the Cubase-Nuendo_32bit.zip file and copy the FaderPort.dll file that's within.

3. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Steinberg\Shared Components and paste the Faderport.dll there

4. Additionally, since the Faderport is a control surface and not a MIDI instrument or controller/keyboard, make sure you un-check the Faderport from In All MIDI under the MIDI Port Setup section
